Updated 10th March 2010
My name is Christine Redmayne, and along with my husband Stuart we share our lives with sixteen adult Ragdolls, two rescued moggies, a rescued German Shepherd and countless chickens. Our life is most certainly not dull, in fact quite the opposite. With this menagerie, finding any 'me' time is nigh on impossible but I would not have it any other way, it's wonderfull!.

We are situated in Darwen, Lancashire, (never heard of it?) well it's about twenty minutes drive from Ewood Park, Blackburn Rovers' Football ground, not that football is of any interest to me you understand.

My wonderfull, gorgeous, cuddly Ragdolls consist of eight breeding queens, four stud boys and four neutered girls, all of which have everything a cat's heart desires, including the most important thing of all, lots and lots of LOVE.

The two rescued moggies I mentioned are now well fed and cared for and much loved, far from the previous life they had endured.

If you would like to take a look at all of my Ragdolls, including kittens, please peruse the following pages and let me know what you think.

Thankyou.

Our German Shepherd (Nero), enjoying his home comforts.
He likes to sprawl out across the base of the fireplace, as it is marble it always stays cool.  I hasten to add that the "fire" behind him is only a bulb  simulating a real fire.

The picture above shows our peacock and pea-hen, "Percy", the husband is at the front and "Penelope", his wife is at the back, we have had these two from being chicks so they don't stray very far, they are 18 months old in this photo.
The "feathered" creatures around our home are my husband's hobby, besides the peacocks there are different kinds of hens as well.

Oliver Nov08
This is Oliver and he is a neutered British Blue, we have had him since he was four years old, the lady who had him couldn't cope with his moulting (which is constant), she also worked full time and he was lonely so I agreed to have him, Oliver is not what you would call a lap cat, he tolerates humans (you can probably tell by his expression) and that's only because he has to (otherwise where would his food come from), he is now twelve years old and I must say he is softening with age, although he does give Nero the run- around, this chap is a much valued part of our ever increasing "family".

If you are looking to re-home an older Ragdoll then Rags Rehome is an excellent site to visit, they have many Ragdolls of varying ages looking for new homes.
